Whitney Shurtliff is excited to gain professional writing experience with On the Money Magazine, where she has been an intern since January 2021. She is a junior at Jones College Prep where she is Copy Editor of the school newspaper. She has been singing in the Chicago Children's Choir for 9 years and also plays the piano. Whitney grew up in the Hyde Park neighborhood and hopes to pursue sociology and journalism in college next year.
